Q: Good Morning answerers. Does anyone know of oral dog neutering drugs? I fear my dogs may have been given such?
I had stopped yesterday to have my burger and fries in a public place, with my perfectly trained purebred dobers sitting behind me. A seemingly pleasant woman approached me to discuss dogs. She then asked if she could give them dog biscuits.

Normally I explain they are trained against poison by only accepting food in their own dish. However, as she approached I had give one a french fry, so I couldn’t very well say that.

For whatever idiotic reason I accepted her gift She only had two, about the size of a stack of four quarters. They were light tan and by all appearances they were dog biscuits

In parting she put some strange speach on me about there being too many dogs, etc until I was uneasy all afternoon. I even called the vet about signs of poisoning.

24 hours later, with no indication of any sort of problem I have discounted the possibilty of poison, but is there an oral neutering pill that fits that discription? If so, is there an antidote?

A: Wow don Don…I wouldnt have thot of that! I have never heard of such a thing, this is not to say it simply does not exist, just to say that I have not heard of it, if it does. :-) I worry about my kids accepting treats to. I traveld with Philbert to the bank the other day and the teller sent a dog cookie (dog biscuit, but I call them cookies) thru the drive thru chute to me. It was a thotful gesture, and I thanked her, but the cookie was tossed over the fence when I got home…..I do not expect the bank is either poisoning on purpose my kids, nor attempting to neuter them, but, my kids do not recieve anything processed such as that cookie.
The reason you accepted her gift was not idiotic…it was one of politeness….next time, perhaps you could gently thank them and place the treats in your pocket and say you will offer them later, when they are not “in training”…make something up…then just ditch the treats later. No harm comes to the dogs , you dont worry yourself out of your mind (I know how you are about these Dober-kids) and you are polite to well meaning folks down there.

A series of mysterious illness and death dogs Nutro pet food. Scores of pet owners report their animals became ill while eating Nutro products, then recovered when they were switched to another brand.

At least six dogs have died in the past two months, according to an analysis of complaints to ConsumerAffairs.com. The company discounts the reports, saying they are isolated and unconfirmed; at least one Nutro employee, sickened by the company’s response, told us she resigned.

In related developments, ConsumerAffairs.com has learned:

• The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently investigated the April deaths of two dogs in Indiana . The FDA tested samples of the Nutro food those dogs ate, but did not find any toxins. No one, however, has tested the Nutro food the other dogs ate before they died;

• A pet nutrition specialist for Nutro confirmed she’s heard complaints about the company’s food making dogs and cats sick. She reported those concerns to her supervisor, but said they were ignored. She recently resigned;

• There is a shortage of some varieties of Nutro dog food. The company says this is a supply problem – not a safety or quality issue;

• Some consumers have sent their pets’ food to Nutro for testing. They have not received any results. Other pet owners plan to hire private labs to test their food and report their concerns to the FDA and the Animal Poison Control Center run by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

The six dogs that recently died include two Italian Greyhounds in Indiana , a Beagle/Whippet mix in Pennsylvania , two German Shepherd puppies in North Carolina , and a Doberman Pinscher in Texas .

The dogs’ owners all say their pets were in good health and they’re convinced that Nutro’s food is somehow connected to their animals’ deaths. Those concerns are echoed by pet owners whose dogs and cats have recently become sick after eating the company’s food.

Nutro, however, defends its products and says the food is 100 percent safe.

But scores of pet owners across the country — including longtime Nutro customers — no longer feel safe feeding this brand of food to their dogs and cats.

Q: Is this “dog and pony show” just a ruse for the insurance companies to unload the catastrophic on the?
taxpayer? Remember the prescription drug program, now medicare. IN a nut shell the insurance companies were not making a killing and made sure that the government took it over and the taxpayers pay. This was a concerted effort by the Democrats, Republicans and the presidential administration.

So instead of them paying for it, it is added to the mess. they will also dump aids, hiv and other money losers for them on the government. A: that has been going on for years, how many illegals etc.etc. have we paid for? this is why we have helmet laws in calf. too many off the insurance rolls getting hurt, and the tax payer’s have always picked up the bill!! this is why we have the seat belt law. Insurance companies made these rules, and the states do what they say, they do not want to pay out anymore than they have to. I went to a creditable psychic 3 times now. The first 2 times everything and i mean everything she said came true. She even told me in January that something life changing was going to happen in august- and we got engaged. My fiancee didnt even know when exactly he was going to do it!! So anyway- I just went to her again today to see what is going on. My uncle in in jail for drugs. He had a motorcycle accident 6 years ago which really messed his brain up. He has been sending threatening letters to my grandma and mom and this last letter said that he was getting out jan 2010 and he had a list with 12 people on it that he was going to kill and he was going to be on americas most wanted etc. He is mad at me because i BOUGHT my great grandfathers house that he thought he should have just GOTTEN. I did not get it for free, nor any discount etc. I bought it for fair market vaule. So thats why he hates me. My moms a cop and got a car out of my grandpas will and he got $3000. He used up his will money throughout the years and was fully aware but now 5 years later is out to get us all thinking he is owed money. The psychic today knew nothing about this mess with my uncle but brought it up saying that he is going to poison my big dog (i have 2) and he is going to key my car and he is going to do something to my front door all because they are things that i can not prove he did. He wants to run me out of the house. My mom- the psychic said someone will be in her closet and key her car as well to let us know that he is there and he is pissed. He hired people on the outside to do this stuff to me and my mom because he is in jail. I am soooo hurt and i cant stop crying feel like a prisoner in my own home. I feel like i cant even let my dogs outside because of the fear they will be killed. I dont want my husband to leave on any trips or leave me alone for fear someone will break in etc. I dont want to even walk out to my car in the morning, what if they are in my bushes? What can i do? We have already contacted the jail and they are now just finally going to read all of his out going mail and filter thru it. But i feel like he already has this plan in action and will follow thru at whatever cost. Then the psychic told me that my grandma is going to be involved tooo!!!!!!!!! As if this isnt enough already now i have to worry she is coockoo too!! O ya and she told me I wont be getting pregnant without help and then when i do get pregnant im having TWINS!!! A: there is such thing as housewatch. housewatch is something that a person can schedule on their own but you have to call the local sheriff’s department for more information. i know here in georgia, if you call the local sheriff’s department in your city, they will have cops watching the house at all times if you ask them to. you tell them a time frame and they will be in your area keeping a watch on your house. also, if you explain to them the situation, maybe they will provide some kind of high tech alarm system on your house. just try not to go anywhere alone, keep your doors locked, windows shut, you can buy window bars at a hardware store for a reasonable price that way nobody can get inside..just get the bars anchored in from the inside otherwise the bars can easily be taken off. see about getting extra locks on all your doors. police departments may have a special force that will actually set up cameras and keep an eye on your house too. if you own the house now and it is paid off, see about selling it and moving. that would be the safest way out to be honest with you. but most likely your uncle is all talk. and that psychic stuff is real to an extent but most of the time those are just predictions..coincidences..kind of like deja vu. sounds like your uncle is a bit on the loco side and needs to be put in a special institution with no allowed phone calls, not able to send mail, etc. see about getting a little handgun and pay attention to your surroundings at all times. get rid of the bushes in your yard, that would give you some peace of mind. set up an invisible electric fence…most the time if you just ignore people like that they will get the hint that its childish and you arent interested in feeling sorry for them. hey, afterall it isnt your fault that you were able to get the house. he shouldnt have messed up and he possibly could have gotten the house or had a job so that he could have bought it later on. so thats his own fault. he is the one that messed up not you. but definately ask about the housewatch! when i am at home alone, i keep a pistol and a blade at hand at all times and also have housewatch..i have had plenty threats just like you are getting from your uncle and this has helped me and i live in the ghetto!

But do not discount the equal tragedies which occur in industrialized, so-called First World nations where inequality is even greater. There are people who must live with tumours until they expire from pain or blockage simply because the medical care in the West, when and where existent, has become lethargic and uncaring. Possibly because we now share universal guilt and suffering. Thus what is caused by the West in the West is marginalised because of what is happening in the Third World.

Stars make space for Rocket

The Huntsville Stars, the Milwaukee Brewers’ double-A affiliate, never seem to miss a promotional trick. First the Stars hired Buck Rodgers as general manager, now they have offered Roger Clemens a contract . . . to be their mascot . . . their secondary mascot, “The Rocket.”

He would dress in an astronaut uniform and support the main mascot, “Homer the Polecat,” who also might be able to fill the buddy-void in Clemens’ life since Andy Pettitte provided his affidavit.

“Clemens is a small-town guy, and he’d be a great fit in Huntsville,” Rodgers said.

The deal would pay Clemens $25 per game, plus vouchers for a hot dog and soda at the concession stand. Oh, and a 15% discount on souvenirs.

While that is more than any major league has ponied up this spring, it might not be the best PR move for Clemens. Name a mascot who doesn’t appear to be on some sort of drug (though not necessarily performance-enhancing ones)?

i dont know whats wrong with me. im just so sad or im so irritable that my fiance notices. the last 2 days when people i have called havent called me back or wanted to talk to me right away, i have actually cried. like started sobbing as soon as i hung up the phone. i seem to have a knack for calling people at the wrong time, as people always seem to have to call me back.

i live in a house with my fiance, our child, his parents and his 90 some year old dementia ridden grandmother. his mother has made it very clear that she doesnt like me and doesnt want her son to marry me, but is going along with it b/c she doesnt want to upset my fiance(he is her favorite son). she loves her other son’s wife and makes blatent gestures to show that she likes her and doesnt like me(she is SO PROUD that fsil is having a boy, whereas when i was going to have my son she could have cared less;she has gone out and immediately bought her mimi maternity clothes and she doesnt even really need maternity clothes, at least not as many as fmil is buying her-she didnt buy me ANY maternity clothes unless she could get them at a super low discount and even then it was like one or two shirts and i had to buy the rest myself). she refuses to even discuss our wedding even though it is only nine and a half weeks away at this point. she wont help us with anything for the wedding(i had to have my fiance take me to find a bra for my dress and to take my dress to the tailors to have it altered for my upcoming bridal photos;she also expects me to sit in my wedding dress on an absolutely filthy back seat(fgmil is fecal and urine incontinent and has had more than a few accidents in the back seat, along with crumbs, dog hair, etc. and she also refuses to get my dress cleaned after making me sit in my wedding dress on this seat). for fsil’s bridal portraits she rented a car and it was a fun time for all(i didnt go as i was working). she has made the planning for this wedding positively MISERABLE!!! i almost dont even want to get married anymore as all i see for the rest of my life is having to live with her and deal with her shit(the only reason i do want to get married is b/c i love my fiance).

my parents and sisters are no longer a part of my life(their choice). my mother is an undiagnosed borderline personality and my father and sister go along with whatever she says to keep the peace. my father sent me an email about a year ago basically blaming me for the problems in his and my mothers marriage and telling me never to contact him or my sisters again(the email was copied to my mother). my mother over the years has spread several outright lies about me, up to and including saying that i and my fiance were responsible for our first childs death(even after the autopsy report was issued and listed SIDS as the cause and we knew that it wasnt the case even though we of course blamed ourselves). she also said that every child we would ever have would die, that my fiance killed our first child and that he was coming after me next, that i was a drug addict and a prostitute to support my habit(which is so UNTRUE it is ridiculous), etc. what little family i have outside of them kind of goes back and forth it seems w/ wanting to talk to me. both of my g’parents are gone(whom i was really close to on both sides) along w/ my g’g'mother.

there is almost no one coming to our wedding. most of my fiance’s family isnt coming for various reasons, mostly due to the economy(or at least thats what they say; i think they know that fmil doesnt like me and they just dont want to be seen supporting something she doesnt as she is perceived as the sub matriarch of the family), and my family is for the most part just not coming for almost any reason-distance, recently made vacation plans(even though they have known the wedding date for almost a year).

then today i found out one of my bm’s just got engaged. dont get me wrong here- i am really genuinely happy for her. im just kind of mad & jealous as her & new fiance have tons of family around them who are ELATED that they are finally getting married. they got engaged this week & are having an engagement party this weekend. we never had an engagement anything other than my ring, & my fiance asked me on valentines day when i was pregnant w/ our son-not really the height of romance, & when we told his parents, they didnt care & were not the least bit excited. they were just kind of like “oh.pass the potatoes.”

i dont know whats wrong or how to fix it.

A: You are depressed, and it’s not very surprising, given your circumstances.

Reading this again, I’m wondering – please don’t get all upset, but just think about this as calmly as you can – why are you marrying your fiance? Is this the love of your life, can you not imagine ever splitting up with him? Does he feel the same? If so…

First off, you need to start pushing bad unhappy thoughts out of your head and replacing them with happy thoughts – like “we’re getting married. it’s because we love each other. it is not to show off to as many people as possible. we are going to have a great day, because it is Our Day”

Second, I would advise you to see a doctor and get some anti-depressants, although if you don’t get out of that house you’re living in, it’s going to be tough to get better.

I worked for startek for 3 yrs They employ agents for AT & T mobility.I was a stellar employee,was kind to my customers,protected their privacy,gave credit when they called and asked and gave them great discounts of phones.I took great care to explain their bills to them and correct the many errors made by agents who didn’t give a dam yet I along with other employees got fired in VA When we came to work at Startek we signed for a criminal background check.Then all of a sudden AT & T decided they would not employee felons and people with violent misdemeanors.I am a mother of 5 and had a resist arrest mis 11 yrs ago.They fired me and about 100 others.The majority were good agents who cared about their customers.They did this in colorado and oklahoma also because they knew they could cause this states are not right to work states.Employees do not have access to your complete soc sec number and certainly not your pin number on your debit or credit card.Yet they did not fire drug abuser mis and I can attest that many there are just plain ghetto,can’t speak proper english and aren’t even high school graduates and some who just don’t give a damn.I have heard agents and some supervisors talk to customers like dogs and I felt sorry for the customer.At & T doesn’t care about doing drug test and the druggies are still there high as ever and getting away with it.I noticed that since startek opened their 1000 agent center in the Philippines our call volume dropped.I worked at night with a skeleton crew,the systems were down most of the night and we would have 50 calls waiting.We were told we better not tell customer the systems were down but that they are updating which was a blatant lie.Agents in the stores consistently added features to customers accounts that they didn’t ask for..
Who would you rather have taking care of you someone with my record or a person who committed a crime 20 yrs ago and who has proved their worth to the company or a high agent who could care less.AT and T does not care.Our county is severely economically depressed and there are not jobs.No wonder prisons have revolving doors.People do the crime and do the time.Why is AT and

A: You’re using the word discriminate improperly. if you committed a CRIME, they have just reason not to hire you.

Crap happens, sometimes, when they need to slim down on their workforce.. ex criminals are the first ones to go because… they’re ex criminals. its life. You shouldn’t have committed the crime if you didn’t want this to happen.

A: At &T has a policy and you do not meet it. Sorry but that is life. Yes it may seem unfair but if they give you a pass then why should someone who is a more recent felon not get one? See the problem? Then they would have people wanting to sue because you as a felon worked there but they could not.

A: Convicted criminals in America, especially felons, can have their rights ignored by just about anyone. The supreme court has upheld this unjust treatment especially of felons as being constitutional, because it’s right there in the part about voting rights. So the justices thought that if you can take felons the right to vote away, you can take about any right away that you want.
For those convicted of a misdemeanor it’s not as bad, you can get fired for having committed a crime while at that job or if you committed the crime before being hired and the boss finds out about it later. In fact a employer might know about the misdemeanor at the time of hiring decide its not important, but fire you later because he changed his mind. And when I say fired I mean loss of unemployment benefits. Otherwise, those convicted of a misdemeanor are not withheld rights guaranteed by the constitution.

So as you can see commit a crime in the U.S. no matter how small and you have to live with it the rest of your life. In my opinion its no wonder that people don’t stop after they’ve committed a crime, they just keep doing more bad stuff, because in a world where you don’t get a second chance why should people want to become better citizens.
